For a 65-66 power antenna, how do you disassemble the antenna; specifically the mast from the base/motor?

Re: 65-66 power antenna disassembly
Jeremy,
I know I took mine apart a long time ago and don't even remember how I did it . To make a long story short , I wound up sending it to Greg Thompson. He is a Frequent User on this forum, and Mr. Antenna to most here .
If he does not chime in by tomorrow you might P.M. him. He is a great guy and always most helpful !

Follow up from Greg on this:First remove the coating. Then remove the aluminum cover. Unscrew the bladed screw and remove the plastic bale . You will then have to snip the ball off the end of the antenna cable. Now remove the three screws at the bottom of the can at the base of the mast. Power up the antenna and the mast should go up. You can then pull the can of the aluminum housing. Power up the antenna again and it should spit out the cable.- Top
