Battery Cable routing

Hello all, hopefully this will only require a quickie response.

Does the battery cable run behind the insulation materials or is it buried behind them?

I should have said does the battery cable run "in front" of the insulation materials or is it buried behind them. I can't type and I'm getting worse

the positive cable is strapped down and behind the transmission tunnel and any other insulation material
i am 98% sure .. :-)

The cable is first installed then the insulation is installed over it so cable is under the insulating blanket.

After installing the cable and in preparing to install the insulation blanket materials I just needed to hear it from those in the "Know" that I didn't put the cart before the horse.
