69 vette kickpanel speaker maximum depth?

What is max depth of a speaker that will fit behind the kick panel? I'm investigating these 2 options:

if i had to guess i would say the depth in the frame pocket would be about 2" or so, but not very much more.
I think the bigger issue will be the cone dimensions and size of the magnet.
if you look at an original it is basically very very shallow on the bottom side and the magnet is dead center and only about 2.5 wide.

I would also be concerned about the height of the speaker. there is very little clearance under the kick panel. thats why the originals were so thin.

You can measure the depth, but magnet size will also be a concern. The magnets on the OEM speakers were not too very big.
