65 side exhaust

At what point were the fender and quarter lower extensions cut off , before or after prime & paint ? Mine did not have any paint on the cuts . What was used to make the cuts ?

They knew on the body line that the car would have side pipes, Sooo, They cut the flanges before the body was bonded together, THUS, there will be bonding agent and paint on the cuts.

That seems to me to be an awfully strong statement considering how thin the paint was at the bottom and under (cuts would be underside) the body. '

Depends on the laziness of the painters.

Interesting, I have bonding agent hanging down on one of the cuts on the front. I wasn't sure how it was not cut off when the dog leg was trimmed.
