    radiator drain missing?

Are there any known cases of 60's cars delieved from the production line without a radiator drain pet-cock? If you happen
across an old radiator at a swap meet without a drain, could that be original from a production line car? Or would
that be some kind of replacement radiator? The situation is that there was never any hole made in the copper...
(mid 50's to mid 70's cars timeframe)

I can't speak all to cars in the years in question, but I do know that my daughter's 2005 Chevy Silverado doesn't have have one. To drain the radiator you have to disconnect the lower radiator hose
The light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

      Anthony-----

Some, including some Corvettes, did not have a drain petcock. However, they did have a drain fitting that was plugged with a pipe plug. I don't know of any of the period that did not at least have a drain fitting.

Anthony, my 1957 came with a drain petcock serial # 3745(May of 57), most of the 56 57 cars I have judged had the same configuration.
