    Restamp or original

    Hey guys need some help quick. Getting ready to buy this car and have some concern about the engine. High end car (69 Chevelle Conv) and supposedly a numbers matching original. I have some photos that were sent to me and I have not inspected the car as it is not close to me. Please advise and thanks in advance.

      Two things. First and foremost, if it is a high end restoration then I would expect a high end sales price...go see the car personally and touch it before buying it. Secondly, I've NEVER seen a poorer job of a re-stamp in my life.

              Thanks guys..I passed. THis car crossed BJ block in 2009 at 93K + comm and again in 2012 at 75K+comm. On top of the double strike it had 2 "5's" in the sequential number on the pad and bot were backwards! What are the odds of seeing 3 numbers/letters stamped wrong on the same pad? !!! Thanks for cofirming my thoughts.
