clever ways to store a 65 hardtop

I need photos or ideas on the best ways to store my hardtop while restoring my car. I have very limited floor space and my car is a hardtop only so I dont want to drag it into the basement . Has anyone used a wall bracket or shelf to keep it from using floor area ? thanks .

Just a old 2x4 and a pair of screw drivers

Its been hanging there since dad bought the car in 2005. Used the top once.

Thanks Keith . I had something like that in mind but I had'nt thought of screw drivers . Did you just drill a hole in the end of the board ?

Yep. Not touch thought went into this. We just used lag bolts into the studs and drilled holes in the 2x4. And then stuck two old screw drivers thought the hard top into the board. Now note the hard top is not restored and has the original w/s that's in bad shape.

Here's another simple approach - uses a length of all-thread with a couple of nuts at each end at the side brackets, then hang that on two hooks into the studs.

Made use of a out of way area.
