Can anyone help decipher the rear axle ratio code and assembly date codes from my rear end? They appear to be AOW 112 P1. The casting number is 3871375 and the cast date is E 5 5. Looking in the 1965 Technical manual an AO code is a small block 3:70 Posi rear end. Could the W be for warranty?
