I will attempt to answer your questions; this will be my last post regarding this subject.

    1. It states, below, that the HeritageCenter is allowing certain information from the Reports to be available to member of the NCRS. This implies that there is more information on these sheets. Does anyone know what that information is?

The information does not contain options as stated in the announcement. The information available is what we have and better than what we had before, we are pleased to offer it to the membership.

    2. Does anyone know what, if any, other information the HeritageCenter has, but is not releasing regarding other documents relating to older Corvettes?

No we do not, but consensus is and has been for a long time the “Holy Grail” does not exist.

    3. Can someone please tell us how this situation came to light? The whole story, please? If not, why not?

Why not give the organization a chance to tell the story to the membership in the Driveline and Corvette Restorer our official publication that goes to all members not just those participating here on the discussion board.
    Roy,
thank you very much for the answers. I am not of the opinion that the Holy Grail exists, I am just curious about the term "certain information", as others are. I absolutely agree that the story should be published in the Restorer, but there was no indication that a story, explaining details, was going to be. If it was just going to include the information given so far, I would still have the same questions. I can wait, and I absolutely applaud the NCRS for being the conduit for such information and will gladly pay the fee to obtain such information.
    Thank you, again.

    George

I for one will be greatful for the service. I know my '66 is a California car and I have spoke to one of the owners. How many or few that still remains to be seen. To know the dealer and the area the car came from, which may turn up the original owner someday. One can only hope.

        Gentlemen:

I don't usually respond to comments on this forum and unfortunately I don't know any of you (my loss, I'm sure). One thing though on this thread caught my attention. That being the comment referring to the saying (which I'd never before heard) "For those that get it no explanation is needed. For those that don't none is possible." Were this even remotely true it would be apparent (or so it seems to me) that we are not paying our teachers too little but rather far too much. Not everyone can be "smart as a whip" understanding it all right the first time through......if everyone did all that would be needed are the books to read from (and today, the internet). Opinions are great, but they should never be confused with the facts. Thanks to all for allowing me my two cents.
