Re: Dealer Delivery Dilemma
Hello Ken;
Is it possibly a "Courtesy Delivery" ?
A person could buy a car from a dealer in one area and have it courtesy delivered in a different city.
The actual delivering dealer received a small fee $50-100. and the "new car.
set-up" credit.

Re: Dealer Delivery Dilemma
That was my thought. Then again, you are dealing with the owner's mother who is trying to recall a purchase made nearly 50 years ago. Perhaps he memory is a bit off. She may think he bought the car in Rhode Island. If you asked my mom where I bought some of my cars, she'd have no clue. If you gave her three guesses, they'd probably all be wrong.
