    Erik,

My nr of posting exactly is right. We have a seperate Bug Forum with over a 1,000 threads for which we post each step in the development/troubleshooting process. 4588 sounds just about right to me...

The new selection of "smiles" when displayed is rather dull. I liked the old ones better. Pete

Re: NCRS Technical Discussion Board Upgrade Complete

One question. On the earlier version, as one would look at the posts in a thread, there would be a box in the "header" of the post that allowed you to click Next.
I do not see it on the present version. Or am I not recognizing where it is.
In order to view each post, currently must click to the top half of the listed posts.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
          Bob

            Bob,

Don't recall that feature. Checked a couple of other forums using the old software and they don't have a Next in the post header.

Next is at the bottom of the page to go to the Next or previous thread. Same location on the old forum.

              Gary,

Talking about the next button at the bottom of the page, selecting next thread brings up the last read thread. Selecting previous thread brings up the next unread thread.

                Dennis,

Robert said in the "header". Previous Thread and Next Thread are at the bottom in the new forum, same location as in the old forum.

                  Gary,

Yes, I understood where they are. What I am saying, is I think they are backwards. The "next thread" button takes you to the previous thread and the "previous thread" button takes you to the next unread thread.

                    Gary,
Maybe it was not in the header, but there was a spot to click in the Post section to advance to the next Post within the Thread.
That was what I meant in my question.
                    Sorry for the confusion.

Judging Points, etc are in the Members List, which is now in the Community Tab. Enter your name and then click on the "About Me" tab and you'll see them.

Also, you can click on the "My Profile" at the top of the page and the "About Me" to see your points as well.

                          Phil,

The "About Me" relates to the Member that's selected from the Members List and shows their Judging points, etc. not about you.

I know you tech guys mean well ,but you keep making this site more difficult to use not easyer. I'm old school and make no apologies for it. I was just getting close to being able to navigate the old site and you have to change, leave it alone please. I'm 65, love c-1s,c2s, and c3s. These continual so called upgrades are like force feeding me c-6, hi-tech, ZR-1 technology.

We have no choice, software was 2 years not supported by the vendor and we were continuously running into performance/overload problems so we were forced to upgrade...

You'll get used to it. Live was, is and always will be changing (just like our climate does )...

The word of the day is consistency not continual change. Try this time around to keep it the same for a while,no more added bells and whistles. Change is not always good ,look at Washington. I sence you have a take it or leave it mentality because your in control, but amoung those here locally that I've talked to the opinion is that this site is increasingly more difficult to use.not easyer.
