Stainless Steel Brakes Corp. makes an upgrade King Pin Kit for 1953-1962 Corvettes called "Royal King Pin Kit". This kit eliminates the brass bushings and instead uses needle bearings. Has anyone installed this kit or know if it is worth while considering? Thank's Pat.

Amazing- just yesterday...
I noticed that listing in the SSB catalog, and planned to ask this very question! I can say I have dealt with SSB at the wholesale level, and I have always found their products and service to be quite good. I am anxious to hear from someone who has used this product, as my original 122,000 mile kingpins could use a little help.- Top

Re: C1 King Pin Uprgade
Some of us put a lot of miles on these old frontends. Plus, they could also be used in 49-54 pass car frontends. My very first car, a 51 Chev which I bought from my Granddad in 62, is my daily driver, 40 mi/day. I would be particularly interested in knowing if just the bearings are available seperately.- Top
