Put the rotors on and check the runout before you start shimming. If everything is clean, you probably won't have a problem. ')" would be nice, but I think .004-.005 will suffice. The only time I had a rotor actually give a problem the runnout exceeded .025. I had that one turned. The other was about .005 and I just left it alone. They've been doing fine for several years without any sign of air pumping.- Top

You could send your rotors and spindles to Bair's and let them rivet the assembley and true as an assembly and for sure you would not have the pumping of caliper pistons and loss of brakes. Best dollars I ever spent after
a Chevrolet garage literally screwed up my 70 doing warranty work.- Top
