    65 Power Brake Booster setup

Does anyone have an easy, accurate way of setting the position of the yoke that threads onto the shaft on the back side of the brake booster/ Either a measurement from the rear of the mounting bracket to the rear of the yoke or a dimension from the rear of the mounting bracket to the centerline of the clevis pin hole would be perfect. All I can find is "use some J-xyz tool" and I need a "home mechanic" approach. All help appreciated.

Bill, I would think that the measurement would be somewhat variable between diffferent cars. I adjust on the car.

      Bill -

Adjust the clevis on the car after installing the booster to get 1/16"-1/4" pedal free play before you feel resistance from the power valve in the booster.
