    c2 tri power ?

after resoring my 67 , i'm going to drive it this summer with a fresh 396. Can i put my rectangle intake on the oval port heads? Are there any special gaskets for this? Years ago i turned my 427 into a drag engine 121/2 to 1 I have never started it since. Thanks again Rich

    Rich:
I've done it. Although it will obviously not be the hot setup from a performance standpoint it will work quite well. Use the standard rectangular port 435 gaskets.

      Addendum

I have installed 435 intakes on 400/390 hp engines. There is no fit problems typical to this installation but you might provide more fuel than a low horse 396 may handle, a 360 hp 396 would probably work or any 396 with cam and ignition that can fire the mixture.
