Re: Another alternative ALT + xxx or ALT + yyyy

      Tony —

For the first time since I switched to WinXP, I went to the "character map" function. Wow, has that ever changed since Win98. Scads more characters. Cryllic, Arabic, Greek, etc. And, the keystrokes are different, too.

I keep a list of and numbers handy, but I forgot to record the listing from the character map for the Euro sign, €. As I recall, it was some combination with the key. Does anyone out there have it?

First, Congradulations the judging scores! I really don't know the specific answer to you question. At the Hershey National (I did not judge) I saw three red brackets and one black one of the four Flight judged '56-'57. I don't know how these were judged. I'll guess three owners did theirs by the book!

The knowledge in this hobby is fluid, tomorrow we'll know more about '56-'57's than we did yesterday. Sometimes judges knowledge prevails, if the owner objects, the issue can be resolved by the team leader. I believe a good attitude for the judge and owner is: we're here to learn (both of us) and here to have fun (both of us).

Whether or not you'd get get a deduct because the bracket was painted black depends upon the judge. Were it me, I would note on the sheet of the red brackets '56-'57's I would expect to see this item black (but make no deductiom, why because it's in print). On the black brace, make no deduction maybe add a smiley face! Regards,

          Geezer,

          Try alt + 0128

The link below may be interesting, too.
