If you read it again, it was talking about my previous Corvette weekend activities. Those with the cars paid. Those working didn't.
It was not about NCRS. It wasn't about judges. You ASSUMED it was.
And those with the cars were glad that the workers were there, because without the workers, those with the cars could do nothing.
The workers make it all happen. Without them, an event can't happen. Workers should be rewarded for their help and dedication, not forced to pay as much as the players.
How many miles do the workers drive, how many hours do they work, and how many dollars out of their own pockets do they spend so that the car owners can have a good time? To insist workers pay is to insult them. You should be paying the workers instead.
If you are one taking your car to be judged, the first thing you should do is shake the hand of each and every worker that comes by and thank them for making an event happen.
If you are a worker, then thank you for working.
