Great news for you, UPS is increasing prices Jan 1, 2004. They have also recently reduced the fuel charge by 1/4%

Guess they gotta raise the rates again to pay for their acquisition of all those thousands of "Mailboxes Etc." stores, now "The UPS Store"

Well guys here goes,
I am a 15 year employee of UPS. I am one of the over 2500 pilots who fly's some of your packages day to day around the globe. I will not even remotely try to explain our rate structure other than to say it's mind exploding. UPS has been in business nearing 100 years and it's because of a simple philosophy. Offer a service that people need and do it better than the competiton. Just like the good Doc's business there are other suppliers out there who offer the same products. Maybe cheaper maybe not. It's up to you to decide where to shop.
