I just had to reshim the body and the radiator support on my chassis because I installed it while supporting the frame under the door areas. The frame was sagging in front from the weight of the engine and when I lowered it onto the wheels the radiator support to area changed significantly. That being the case, where should the frame be supported in order to work under the car without putting stress on the front area?

Re: '67 SUPPORT POINTS
When I worked on a car on the lift for a significant length of time (body on restorations), I would use a set of tall axle stands, placing them under the frame at the control arms and if the rear suspension was still under the car at the end of the rear springs, if suspension was out I would support the rear right in front of the kick up. I had no problems with door alignment if I did it this wayDick Whittington- Top
