Greetings!
I recently replaced the coil in a 67 327-350 coupe. An occassional engine miss led me to go thru the ignition system, where I found the secondary resistance of the coil to exceed the recommended range. I put a new Delco in its place.
I was wondering if there was any chance that the coil I removed could be the original one. Ok, probably not, but how could I tell?
The coil I removed has the words Delco-Remy on the top front, in a slightly ornate font. Embossed on the side, near the top is the number 202 over 12-V. I can find any other interesting markings.
What would an original coil look like?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Cheers!
