The (original) switches cleaned up great and some WD-40 and light tapping broke the shaft free from inside the threaded nut. Reinstall and close door once and presto - working courtesy lights. I love modern technology.

Thanks for the adjustment/factory info. I got just as much out of this as anyone. I plan to "reset" my "hole method" to what you, and Bill, have provided. Tom #24014
