I have heard that all C6s on the road now will be scrapped as they are "Test Mules".

            Rick, Tom, et al:
One of the neat things about living in the Detroit area, especially along the Woodward corridor, is that you get to see pre-production vehicles long before they are available to the public. I remember seeing a ZR1 in front of a store I owned in Birmingham loaded with computer equipment months before they were in production. The same for the then new C5 as well as other marques. 13 & Woodward is the place to be until the Royal Oak cops throw you out! If any of you have an opportunity to "cruise Woodward" during the National convention, please give me an e-mail and I'll give you good directions and maybe a group of us could get together. At that time we will already be gearing up for the Woodward Dream Cruise that brings an estimated 40,000 old cars and 1.5 million people.
            Regards

                Re: C6 sightings

That is likely since these preproduction cars may not be in full compliance with all applicable DOT and EPA requirements, and there are big civil and even possible criminal penalties if non-complying cars are sold to the public.

Once GM has concluded their engineering evaluations, they will probaby be scrapped.
