The frame in question is pretty bad. The left side from the kickup to the back of the front wheel has been scabed by a 4" piece of angle.
Where the side rail section meets the rear cross member before where the kickup starts has had a plate welded to the bottom to support that area.
Also on the passenger side it's showing a lot of rust on teh bottom just before the kickup.

Gary, as time goes by all the mid-years irregardless of year will become more valuable, you may even decide to change you 64 from a driver to a car that is judged and shown. I would look for a 64 frame, they are out there.

Gary, as time goes by all the mid-years irregardless of year will become more valuable, you may even decide to change you 64 from a driver to a car that is judged and shown. I would look for a 64 frame, they are out there.

What is your time factor?

If you watch eBay, you will see some on there. Frames run anywhere from $400 to $4000 depending on a lot of facotrs. Some are bare frames, some rolling chassis.

So it is possible that you pay a bit more than you want and sell off extra parts that come with it.

The '64 frame won't be fast to find, but if you have some time to wait, you'll find one. If not, then a trip to Carlisle in August will probably produce a frame for you to drag home.
