      Wrong Patrick

In 1994 Miss Vicky was at Carlisle and came over to our space to congratulate me on my recent purchase of a 94 from Kerbeck. What a beautiful sales girl she was. When I purchased my 1996, she was them married to George Kerbeck and I presume retired. Darn.

        that supports my theory

for a girl to get ahead on the job she should get under a good boss and work up.

            Re: Wrong Patrick

Ok, thanks for the update. How did I ever miss her?

            MARRIED to George????
That explains a lot. You'd think he would display his trophy a little more often.

              Re: for you old farts

When I was at Palmyra Motors I ordered a 1975 Corvette Convertible in primer and we painted it Playboy Pink (just like the C6) for a woman in Rochester, New York. Used to see the Corvette out and about in Rochester, but haven't seen the car in years. The woman that originally owned it now drives a white C5 convertible. Save the Wave.>George

                Playmate pink

The Playmate who got the '68 AMX had it repainted black to avoid all the attention she was getting while running errands in L.A. Yeah, right. You pose nekkid for everyone to see but you don't want anyone to stare at you in your clothes?

That same pink was an RPO color on some late sixties Mustangs.

When I picked up my wife's new Buick in 1986 there was a factory-pink Century 4-door on the transporter. The dealer said it was going to a Mary Kay "winner" in the area.

On the last construction site I managed there were about 30 rental cars/trucks for staff use. I finally had to tell the rental agency that we wouldn't accept any purple vehicles in that fleet. Nobody wanted to drive them around the site. They said that color just invited cat-calls and insults from the craft workers. I shudder to think what they would have said to someone in a pink car.

                  "Playboy Pink" was

used by the Playboy organization from 67-69 on Mustangs given to Playmates, and was also available as a special order color to the public. I woman near where I lived then bought one, and must have loved it because she kept it 10 years. Most were painted red by the trade-in dealers or the second owner. Rare today, I believe there is a PP Registry for these cars. Rarest one I ever heard of was a 1967 Mustang GT convertible with the 390GT engine. Probably the only one made.
