On final steps of frame off of 63 Corvette Coupe. I am now stumped on the installation of the trim around the windows on the coupe. I purchase the rubber from Corvette Rubber and the trim clips from Long Island Corvette. Ok so now I go to install the trim and the rubber seems to be to thick as the trim is unable to clip, the rubber pushes against the body panels and the clips seem to be to short. OK now...its obvious all trim clips are not created equal. So what is the BEST clip to use...who sells the best clip? Is there rubber flashing that is thinner? Whos sells it? PLEASE help me I am just stuck. I am going to remove the windows and start all over again, but this time want to buy better products...PLEASE help MANY THANKS
