As a matter of fact, the paint had three or four hundred miles on it when that photo was taken, and the paint above the crossover has not even discolored yet. The hardest part was cleaning it, it had not been painted since built in about 1972. I used three art brushes, a 1/2", a long-handled 1/8", and a tiny modeling detail brush for a coupla really tight spots, like behind where the oil tube sticks out of the intake.
