I am trying to decide whether or not to purchase a "New" Holley 3247 ('66 425 HP) to replace my service dated 3247 carb. The carb I am presently using was re-built about four years ago and still performs relatively well with occasional minor adjustments. I realize that even though it has been re-built, certain areas of a 37 year old carb may not meet original tolerances.
My question is: Is the "New" 3247 identical to the original (other than the obvious lack of date stamp and fuel bowl bolts)? Thanks and best regards.
