Re: 1963 Coupe Early or Late
Duke, I didn't say "which as you indicate are probably long gone.", I said that the chances of getting them were slim to none. They are still in GMs files, and probably will never be destroyed as they are useful releasing information to them, even today.
Actually the same applies to the AIMs. The MASTER COPIES were filmed and are still in GMs files. The MASTER copies were filmed each model year WITH ALL of the change history sheets. As you say,"Some AIM sheets were "revised and redrawn" and this wiped out the previous change record history, which is unfortunate", however, this only applied to the manuals that were used in the plants as they were REQUIRED to destroy the sheet that they were taking out. The Engineering Master copy has all the sheets.
The reasons I say that the chances are slim to none, is because # 1,getting the GM legal staff and or someone way up on the GM ******* pole to approve access and,# 2, it would take a very, very long time sitting down at a Microfilm reader printer machine to copy all of the master AIMs----they are about three times the size of the available repro AIMs.
