I'd sure appreciate some feedback on an interesting part of my '67 that I recently discovered when I powered washed my driver's side spindle. After I dissassembled my chassis, I noticed that the driver's side spindle was half cast and half painted in engine color. There were also several obvious orange paint drips down the edge of the cast portion of the spindle. The pass side spindle was all cast with no orange paint. Has anyone else had a similar experience? If so, why does my driver's side spindle have so much sloppy orange paint on it where the pass side is devoid of any orange paint?
