C1 clock repair

I may try to have my 57 clock repaired, two co.s that advertise are (clocks by roger) and (D&M) does anyone what to comment on these two co.s, good or bad.
or any other suggestions as to places where you have had good results thanks

I had mine (C2) done by D&M. It works and looks good. He does a lot of instrument repair for all types of cars. I've been in his shop and he has a lot of work with repeat business.

Roger used to be good when he sat at the shows and worked on stuff. Now he is too big and sends the stuff off to be repaired by somebody else. I stopped using him after it took 9 months and countless calls to get a tach returned.

Clockworks will fix it for usually $40, and have a quick turn.

After I had my clock repaired with the original workings it was suggested that a 1 amp inline fuse be installed so that if the coil hung the fuse would blow instead of possibly causing a fire.I just made a pig-tail with an inline fuse holder that would plug between the harness and the clock. Easy to remove if the time came to have it judged. Rob

Roger did a beautiful job on the clock for my '65. He also repaired the odometers in my speedo unit.

Clockworks does a superlative job. They did my 67 and I love it.
Clocks by Roger has done one for me before but never again.

The Clockworks (www.clockwks.com) has done several C1 clocks for me with excellent results (mechanical, not quartz, although they'll do quartz conversions too if you want).

Another vote for clockworks

They did a great job on the clock in our '62, including an additional $15 for repair of the broken 12V terminal. Works like a charm for over a year now, guess it's time to unplug it.....
