    Wow !....

I don't know about Clem and paddle shifters. Just after he gets the jump on the guy in the new Mustang GT when the light turns green he might watch the GT blow by becauce he washed the windshield instead of grabbing the next gear.

Re: thomas r haskell &'THE LYNNDALE CAR'

      Tommy --

The CPI pricing guide lists $95 K for a never-driven, trailer queen like your car. But your car does not have two tops, nor BO mag wheels, Furthermore, it is pictured obn the streer, implying that it is generally driven. I'd say that $75-85K for a car that is not remarkable for anything except going to a lot of shows.

BTW, your description of the car reads word-for-word like the Pro-Team ad. You weren't the sucker that bought that car, were you?

Re: thomas r haskell &'THE LYNNDALE CAR'

The evidence suggests it is the same car, or Mr. Haskell simply used the PT description of that car (now shown as "Sold" on the PT site) for his car - right down to the misspelling of "Lyndale".

With that said - hey Tom - you are obviously very enthusiastic about your car - and that means you are in the right place, glad another C2 owner has come by. I would cation you that this is a rather impressive group, many folks here own Corvettes (and some have more than one) of even greater value and rarity, lots of them have been in magazines, and we almost all tend to think of our cars the same way you do - so you won't find too much interest in "mine's the rarest" boasts and such. Great place for technical info though. Look into joining a local NCRS chapter for some good face to face comraderie too.

                      Tommy --

As a further indication of the value of the car, the previous owner's (prior to Pro-Team) asking price was $84.900. And, we don't know when the car earned all the awards. Ate you absolutely certain that ALL of the rare parts that were on the car during judging have not been teplaced with repops? Do you have the BoS, tank sticker, etc? Did the car leave the factory with BO's, only to hyave them removed at the used car dealer?

Methinks that you might have entered this hobby a bit niavely
