    Yes, that is where we were at the last time this came up.

    I looked at the Noland book and while not great photos it is pretty clear none of the wingnuts look like the one Dale showed. While not sure due to distance, the wing nuts look like they have longer wings like the one I had in the middle.

      With all due respect to Dale, and I knew him well and he visited my home in
      California and we swapped parts, etc., etc---I think that he was absolutely all wet on those wing nuts.

            Rob, It would be hard to determine originality from anything that has been modified to that extent. I believe that to be a 1956 motor based on the 9 fin valve covers, the extra screw in the carburator bases and the exhaust manifolds.
