Even though I grouse and complain, I wouldn't want it any other way. This car is more therapeutic to me than anything else.

I can vacate the house, roll up the sleeves and "Bingo" I'm back in MY element and all is good with the world.

And even when the time comes to pop the tops and tickle the go go peddle for that "first" ride, I can assure you that I will NEVER forget blood sweat and bucks it took to get there. Uh Uh, no way Dude!

I just can't wait to give back that first thumbs up that comes my way, and then I'll be all

I forget - you are younger than me. I forget what I have for breakfast sometimes, much less how much I spend on what I like. However, your point is well taken - these babies cost way more than they should, given the 60's technology they yield. I am looking forward to that first power shift to third though
