                  No, he was 2nd highest. He stopped at 4 mil.

                      LS-6 ragtop drag racing accomplishments

                      That LS-6 convertible is infamous. Here is a car that won the Super Stock Nationals against the almighty Hemis, the Chrysler crowd vowed it was a fluke!

                      Ray Allen then backed it up with the World Finals Championship drag race that was the first to be televised, and again WON! He showed those Hemis what a RAT can do! Long live the LS-6, L-88 and ZL-1's, the almighty RATS.

                        Wow is right. I read that Ray Allen sold it to the guy that took it to the auction for $325,000.00 . Not a bad profit !

                          Long live Rat mtrs. Surprised what 66-67 SS 396 Chevelles were bringing in fact all Chevelles. Seems to be the 67-68 Shelby, Mopar, Hemi show. But the Bobby Allison 69 Daytona at 300K in hindsight will look cheap.

                            Jay;

                            I was also surprised by the '67 Chevelles as well! I thought the Fathom Green L-88 coupe at 200K? was a good buy also, after seeing what was offered at Bloomington Gold last year. I wasn't sure if the Cortez Silver Camaro ZL-1 was one of the few original engined cars or not, but the price 450K seemed reasonable as well.

                              That Zl-1 was cheap as I believe a Dk Blue ZL-1 sold for 800K this past fall. Craig Jackson must be happy as he brings nothin' but the habit.
