1966 Engine Question

Probably a dumb question for Vette experts but how can I determine if my 66 was originally a Big Block? It now has a 1969 (non-vette) 427ci. It has the hood and emblems but those are easy to change. Thanks Doug

Doug, heres a few
1) rear stabilizer bar mounted to rear of tailing arm
2) rear differential half-shaft heavy duty caps instead of u-bolts
3) 90 degree fuel line instead of 45 running to fuel pump.
4) heavier front stabilizer bar (forget dimension difference)
5) tach redlines....this helps sometimes
