I have a bad throw-out bearing and need to drop the trans. Last time i did this, I lowered it from under the cat by removing the shifter and unbolting the trans from the bellhousing. I have also pulled the entire drive train out the top for other reasone. Question: is it easire for the third option; dropping it out from below WITH the bellhousing? I should note I have a munci with an 11" bellhousing. My thought is that I can leave the linkage on because I won't have to pull it back so far to get the pilot shaft out. Any thoughts???
Thanks!!!
