    C2 66 Big Block K19 AIR Carburetor

    I need to replace my non-original carburetor on my 390 hp car but don't have the original K19 system on the car. THe question is, if I can find the correct carb, can I use it without the rest of the AIR system or until I get the rest of the components in place? From what I understand (I haven't seen one yet)it connects to the AIR system, but would I have to cap that line somehow?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    shouldn't be a problem running the correct Holley without the K-19 items. good lcuk finding the pieces. mike

      The AIR carb has ported vacuum advance. I recommend you convert to full time vacuum advance by using a full time vacuum source, like the choke vacuum break, for the vacuum advance signal.

      You can probably also convert to full time my modifying the carb internally.

          I would really appreciate the pictures if you could send them. Since I am unfamiliar with this unit, I need as much info as possible to be able to see what it is I need to do.
