Here is the Tinypic.com page
Hit theBrowse button to find your picture on your computer.
Click the Upload Image button after you have it.
Then copy the information in the Link box.
Put it in the NCRS Optional IMAGE URL box.
Make sure you have only ONE http:/ at the beginning of the URL on the NCRS page. There is one there automatically, so delete it or paste over it, not next to it.

And here is the final NCRS page
You should have something like this.
The best thing about Tinypic.com is it is free, always available, no sign up, and works with everything.
Notice, there is only ONE in the link.
the doesn't work here. It does on other forums like Corvette Forum.
The HTML link <a href=""> <img src=""
border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"> </a>
(all Greater Than and Less Than are left out as this page deletes them) doesn't work here, either. However, you can paste that into your own web page if you are making one and need space to store extra pictures.Attached Files- Top

Any chance of a close-up pic ?
Since this thread started 9 days ago, [when I mistakenly posted a later C2 shock washer pic], I've been waiting to see what a '63 (&'64 ?) washer really looks like. I gather from your engine bay pic that they are smaller, but more detail would be nice, or perhaps if someone else with "correct" washers would step up.
P.S. these shots of barn-finds are great; not often we see how they were "put away".- Top

Re: Any chance of a close-up pic ?
Sorry, Wayne, it is a eBay pic. I grabbed it as I thought it might have some interest. Unfortunately, the shock washers were not high on the list of who took the photo.
Out of many other eBay photos, this is one of the few to even show them. Most are not even in the picture of the engine bay and the rest are covered with the dust flap.
They do look more like conventional aftermarket washers, with the dip in the center, a rise around it, and then droppign off on the edge. But they don't look to have quite as sharp of stamping in the center as most aftermarket washers.
Unfortunately, this is the full-size image that I captured, so we can't even expand or go to an unedited one.
Here is another view.

Hello Rob
I don't paste many pics here as my 1967 is incorrect in so many ways. Including that BC/CC Sherwin-Williams paint of course. Those pics were taken during our Club's first road tour of 2006 about two weeks ago. I have not driven since as the weather has been wet and miserable. Hope this message finds you well!

Agree; and your 2nd shot offers more detail
I zoomed the image on the computer screen until the shock nut was the same size as a '65 original (scale control basis -- rough but sometimes surprisingly close) and yes, the '63 washer (sure looks original to the car) appears of similar diameter as a new GM washer I got with a set of gas shocks for the C2 (that is, 1_3/8" dia.), compared to the large upper washers (1_7/8") for '65-up Corvettes. --- Thanks- Top
