I have 2 questions regarding the blackout and paint margin on the underside of my 67 small block hood. I see in the JG that "In the hinge area, the structure curves in toward the hood approx. 1/4". At this point, the blackout does not follow the curve in the structure. The blackout runs in a straight line consistent with the upper portion of the hood".
My questions are:
a. Does this rule apply since my car is a black car? (difficult to even see the break line), and
b. if there is still a breakline between the blackout and paint margin on a black car, does the paint margin go along the front of the hood too, or does it just stop just past the hinges with no paint along the front of the hood past the hinges?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks.
Tony
