I'm working on a friend's door with power window regulator and the motor is separate from the regulator. Is there a procedure out there for properly mating the motor to the regulator with the appropriate spring tension? The car is a 1976 coupe. Also, are the rollers of the regulator the same for power versus manual regulators? Two of the rollers are broken off and it seems only the outer portion of the rollers are affected. Does someone sell roller parts so I dont have to replace the entire roller but only the outer wheels to the rollers?
