Re: Who appoints team leaders & how do we fire one
I guess NCRS is happy with things the way they are folks concerning 1963-64.
Maybe I was under the wrong assumption thinking its about keeping cars original.
It may very well be about $$$ and the cash keeps flowing no matter how much we complain, so what is their incentive to change? If thats true the answer is none.
Everyone surely knows the good used car dealers with older Corvettes get them pedigreed with proper papers through NCRS and Bloomington.Good pedigree makes dogs and cars more desireable and in a twisted way fools people into the notion EXPERTS have said this is a real car. Is that the grease that keeps the NCRS wheels turning??? 1963/1964 Corvettes will forever be changing hands so what real difference do owners make if car dealers are happy? Answer that one NONE so far. Car sellers dont fret that the 63-64 judging "GUIDE" has many errors, they change the car to conform to judging "GUIDES" the same way a newbie owner does because both want a flight award.
Roy if you are out there understand I respect you and like you BUT 63-64 guys have been stuck with the same leader and the same inaccurate judging "GUIDE" too long. What does it take to change this situation? What recourse do we have if we are unhappy with the 63-64 judging leadership that is NOT elected?
