Yup that's the place Michael. I always enjoyed the turn out there. Pit Boss on 19 has a cruise-in on Friday nights. Pitt Boss is about one mile south of the 50 & 19 interesction. The Hardee's on the corner of 19 and 50 has one on I think every other Saturday. The Christmas cruise at Hardee's was a good one.

How long has this cruise-in been going on...my dad used to live south of 50 east of 19, backed up to Oak Hill Golf Course. Used to visit him twice a year until he passed in Feb 2001. I used to go to the Classic car showroom in Tarpon Springs all the time.
I still make that area in late Feb early March as a group of 8 of us fly down for golf and we play 2 courses in Brooksville.. Silverthorne and Hernando Oaks. Sometimes we also play World Woods.

It sounds like more and more people are getting interested in the Thur night show. I've gotten several emails from members saying they're going to try to include it as part of their trip to Kissimee. Also asked about lodging in the area. As I remember, there were several nice motels in that immediate area. Maybe we should start a new string/discussion on this in a day or two.

Been to almost all of the cruises in this area. Incredible that there's one somewhere around here just about every night of the week. Guess us old geezers don't have anything else to do. Good fun, no judging and no one telling me I'm not supposed to have that ugly in line auto parts fuel filter on my car.

I'm not sure how long this gathering has been going on Rick. My first time there was last year and I heard that it has been going at least a few years prior to that. I don't even know who started it. Probably just a small group that grew larger over the years.

The Classic Car place in Tarpon Springs is interesting, although they now charge something like $7 each to enter the showroom.
