There were two Motion cars at Mike Yagers Mid America funfest back in September.

Have you contacted the owners of those two cars for their help.

upper right hand side of what? Usually pencil or crayon markings / numbers ar "Job Numbers" not Dealer numbers. Do you have any original documanetation such as the Tank Sheet, Protecto Plate, or window sticker?

The upper right side of the tank sheet. Only about half or less of the tank sheet is left. I have no dealer info on the tank sheet. I have window sticker or no protecto plate I have traced the past owner that owned it around 1989 and he said he bought it Indiana and cant remember the guys name he bought it from. Mr.Rosen siad that I would need a NICB search done before he could document it or some other type of pedigree.

The pencil mark on the Tank Sheet is the "Job Number" from the Factory, those started over each day I was told. That probably won't be of much help to you.

You need to go to the yenko.net website, as they have Baldwin Motion guys that hang out there and could help you.

NOTE: Genuine Baldwin-Motion low-volume specialty cars started life as new car orders placed through Baldwin Chevrolet, were converted by Motion Performance, then delivered (and financed) by Baldwin Chevrolet. New car sales were handled by Joel Rosen at Motion Performance or Ed Simonin and Dave Bean at Baldwin Chevrolet.

Thanks or all the help guys.I have paid Joel Rosen his 1500.00 dollar fee and he told me that he didn,t have all records on all the cars that were built he didn,t think it was one of the ten but could have been done under contract buy a other dealership or done in someones back yard. I am trying To find out if there is any way to tell what dealership it went to From St.louis. Joel rosen said the only way to tell would be from any prior reciecpts or any other pedigree.Or to have a NICB search done, but I found that a NICB search is very hard to find someone that can run a search. So if you know anyone that can run a NICB search that would be great! Also I would like to sell this car so if any buyers are interested let me know.

joel must have lowered his price because

a few years ago on one of the other super car sites he was quoted as asking $15K for the paper work.

I too remember it being 15K for docs by Rosen. But back in the early 90's when Marty Shoorr (incorrect spelling) was wrting for Vette Mag. I think he stated the docs were $1500.00

it may be $1500 to look and see if he has the

paper work BUT if he has it it was $15,000 to get it. you can't blame the guy with owners paying $15,000 for 5 orignal red/gold line tires.
