I recently posted this question and got some good advice but never got the answer to my question. I'm posting it again because there must be someone out there that knows the answer.
What fasteners were used to attach the trim that the holds the carpet to the three storage (jack, glove, battery) doors? There are two attachment points on each of the four sides of the trim. They appeared to be plastic when I drilled them out to remove the trim. However, the material I drilled out could have been epoxy or some type of glue. The material was dark (almost black) and not painted the same color (oxblood) as the trim.
Does anyone know for certain what material was used? If so, do you know if it is available today?
Thanks again in advance and I hope I'm not beating a dead horse.
