Now they repro everything -trim tags, vin plates, paper work,tank sticker,broach marks ,stamping engine ,parts and more parts. And their getting better every day. In time you cant tell a repro Corvette from a real one. So having a original real Corvette don't mean anything any more. I just enjoy driving and keeping my 55 Corvette and the hell with Bloomington and the NCRS Awards, it don't mean nothing any more!
That is how I feel about all this talk and argument about engines.That is one reason I sold my long time 67 coup and got the 06 Corvette.

No, only a few are restamps that I know of. There are several that are real.

Makes it hard, eh?

Now try that with the uneducated public and see why so many restamped engines get passed off as real and the dollars go out of sight.

Since only about 3 of the original 20 L88's still have the original block and it appears this one has circular broach marks, I vote for it.
