Try taking your new vette to a car show!
I have the best of both worlds ,old and new , because I rarely ever go to NCRS meets or any Corvette meets I get a kick out of driving ether Corvette. I like any and all Corvettes. In the 55 I get old farts and old Farty women looking and asking questions,in the new 06 I get young guys admiring it and it's the greatest ICE breaker in talking with young women . I miss my 67 but not that much when I'm in my 06 , I for get about it.

C6 can cause problems!!!

I can tell you right now the C6 will get you in the most trouble. The 19 year olds don`t mind at all that my wife is with me or not. "I like your car no I love your car" "Can I look at your car" You all have heard it! I`m 57 and am amazed at the people especially the girls wanting to see it. I don`t think I`m going to let my wife drive it by herself anymore...

no way a c6 can cause more problems-- The 19 year old blonde will cause you more problems and will cost about what you would pay for 6 or more vettes +++ better stay with the 55 that draws old farts.
