Goathill (the continueing story?)

Sander and myself have paid Goathill $457 for 2 dated 62/63 starters back in September last year but so far we didn't receive anything. I'm trying to reach them but time after time it seams almost impossible to get hold of them and if we are lucky and get in touch they claim they have either sent the starters or promise to send them shortly. So far no starters arrived and they haven't been able to provide tracking information.

Are other members also experiencing difficulties dealing with Goathill and if so would it be possible to join forces to get them to deliver. Putting pressure on them from the Netherlands is difficult but if needed I'm willing to put a US based attorney on them to get what we paid for...

I sometimes see Goathill at the Carlisle, Pennsylvania swap meets. If by chance he plans to attend the spring event in April and you can get him to agree, I will be happy to pick up the starters and ship them to you.

How'd you pay? If CC cancel that charge. If you don't here from them by Carlisle, I have about a dozen friends that will be attending right down from his tent. If he even shows up they would like nothing more than to collect on a debt, need I say more.

Suggestion. I'm getting tired of hearing stories about this guy. If you'd like, I'd be happy to provide you with the Los Angeles District Attorney Investigators' phone number so that you might talk to them about your problem. Without any further information, it's a close call as to whether this is civil or criminal in nature [I'm not asking for more info]. It's worth a try. If you manage to convince a LADA investigator, or some other agency, to look into this matter, this may solve your problem. At the very least, it'll start a paper trail that might help others that are or will be experiencing problems with this guy in the future. As the saying goes, where there's smoke, there's fire. This guy is bad news.

To beat a dead horse, ONLY deal with GoatHill IN PERSON. Great material, horrible service. GoatHill had a large display at the Feb Corvette/HiPo Event in Puyallup WA, when I saw it, I immediatley thought of all the angry customers who would like to be standing at his sales table!!

This guy will probably be at Spring Carlisle next month. He's inside the building, across from the seat belt guy. I believe he goes to the Spring, Corvette, and Fall Carlisles. Don't know about Pomona. I don't know how useful it'd be to confront him at his booth. It would be useful if he was in the middle of making a sale. I hope the NCRS Driveline isn't still taking his ads.

As suggested...if you paid by credit card, dispute the charge. It's not difficult(unfortunately I've had to do a few). You'll receive full and permanent credit back on your card, or at the very least, the inquiry your credit card will make will expedite you receiving the merchandise.

I've made this offer to others that have had similar experiences with Goathill but no one has taken me up on my offer. The offer - I live less than 5 miles from the place, if I knew exactly what you wanted/ordered I'm willing to go there and get it. Then send it too you.

From time to time, people post about how bad Goat Hill is but yet people keep buying from him.
Why do you guys help this deadbeat stay in business so he can cheat other Corvette owners. Stop buying his products.

I'm with Kurt. There are countless posts about this guy and what a P.O.S. he is. I can't understand why people continue to send him money.Instead, why don't you just send me the money? You won't get anything or it but at least I'll say thank you.
