65 non power master cylinder leak

The fluid actually seems to be oozing through the casting of the master cylinder. Is this possible? Has anyone ever heard of this?

The fitting for the line is bone dry and so is the area where it mounts to the fire wall.

Leaking through the casting itself is known as porosity. I've seen it on new castings, but not on older ones.....are you sure there's not a crack in it? J.D NCRS # 19684

If it is a crack I can't see it. I think it's a repro cylinder as the lid is unpainted.
