'61 window whiskers

Does anyone have any secrets on mounting the whiskers at the top of the doors both inside and outside to the stainless support pieces.

No secrets to it. Mark where the original was very carefully. Put the replacement exactly in the same place. I used the original holes in the stainless, used my drill to go through those holes and through the whiskers, and then bent the staples. measure twice. drill once

Measure twice, drill once, AMEN. I just did this for my 60, broke three drill bits, ended up using a sharp ice pick to force the hole in the whisker. A fellow at a local restoration shop suggested creating a complete assemble using the door post and stainless to identify the proper location for your car. I did this and taped the new whiskers to the stainless, the dissasembled and attached the whiskers to the stainless carefully. Good Luck!
