Question for the smog experts. While reading the most recent Restorer I came across an excellent article by Ed Vignone illustrating a `66 smog small block 5 star car. Does anyone know if the `67 smog 327 car was marked the same way with a yellow grease pencil upside down on the voltage regulator 'CAL HH' as well as the yellow and green paint marks on the A.I.R. pump. I`ve spent several years hunting parts and putting one of these back together; now just trying to fine tune the details.

My Cal smog 67 does not have any markings on the back of the smog pump (original unit) & I don't remember any markings by the regulator.
The engine compartment was refreshed about 6 years ago so "out of sight...." -

I don`t know how to contact Mr. Vignone. I would welcome any info. Survivor cars with A.I.R. are in very short supply. The markings in paint and grease pencil are the first I`ve ever seen. I still don`t know if these marks were applied during `67 production or just possibly `66. If you find anything, let me know. JimComment
